Spam Filter

Enable Spam Filter

The spam filter feature in Flowmail helps you protect your email account and improve deliverability by automatically detecting and filtering out spam and unwanted emails. Enabling the spam filter for your sending email account ensures that your outgoing emails are less likely to be marked as spam by recipient email servers. Follow these steps to effectively enable the spam filter for a sending email account in the Flowmail app:

  1. Log in to your Flowmail account and navigate to the settings or preferences section related to email accounts. This is typically found in the account settings or email configuration settings within the app.

  2. If you have multiple email accounts connected to Flowmail, select the sending email account for which you want to enable the spam filter. This is the email account from which your outgoing emails are sent.

  3. Look for an option or feature within the email account settings menu that allows you to enable the spam filter. This may be labeled as "Spam Filter," "Spam Protection," or something similar.

  4. Click on the spam filter option to enable the spam filter for the selected sending email account. This action activates the spam filter and begins filtering out spam and unwanted emails from your outgoing email stream.

  5. Depending on your preferences and email sending habits, you may have the option to adjust the sensitivity of the spam filter. Consider adjusting the filter sensitivity to balance between filtering out spam effectively and minimizing the risk of legitimate emails being flagged as spam.

  6. Periodically review the emails filtered by the spam filter to ensure that legitimate emails are not being inadvertently blocked or flagged as spam. Look for options to review filtered emails within the spam filter settings menu.
